I know it's been a while since I posted here on RWW's, and I'm a little rusty, but this resource is just too good NOT to post about (also, I want to try and become a little more active here, and this is a start :) ).
I'm sure you've heard of THE BOOKSHELF MUSE blog, which has moved and been newly renamed WRITERS HELPING WRITERS, and the gals who run/own the site, Angela Ackerman and Becca Puglisi. They're authors of the awesome and popular writers guides series The Bookshelf Muse Descriptive Thesaurus Collection, which include:
- The Emotion Thesaurus: A Writer’s Guide to Character Expression
- The Positive Trait Thesaurus: A Writer’s Guide to Character Attributes
- The Negative Trait Thesaurus: A Writer’s Guide to Character Flaws
Well, they have published a companion guide to The Emotion Thesaurus, and are offering it for FREE, so hurry on over to WRITERS HELPING WRITERS and download your copy now!
Make sure you sign up for their newsletter while you're there, and check out the Writing Tools Page, too. They offer free pdf downloads for handouts and worksheets.
Happy Writing!
